This is the Alpha Release as mentioned in the forums. Our game updating system is not in this release. So this file being downloaded is in one giant .rar file for this is only demo. Once we do get to alpha we will have our update system in place and will not require you to download large file.

For those of you who use dial up. Im am sorry to announce, but Shadowed Lands will not support your connection type. With new technology for games, requires new technology of ISP’s. Meaning we only will support DSL and better connections.

Please be advised, while running our game client we do have a known memory leakage at our character selection screen. Please do NOT let the game idle at character selection or your computer will crash. We are not holding any responsibility for what this alpha application may do to your PC.

It is normal for our game client to use up 100% of your available resources from the time the game client starts, until it has been closed. Please be advised, the game client is NOT using 100% of the resources. It will reserve all resources you have to make sure you can have smooth gameplay, With this reserving 100% of resources, this does not mean you cannot run other applications in the background, but we do advise everyone to try for the first time with everything closed for we do not know how it works on everyone’s machines.

By downloading this file you are adhearing to our ToC (“Terms and Condition”), and our EULA(“End User License Agreement”)

DO NOT try and breach our game servers. Our servers are heavily monitored and keep logs of every connection. Please be advised if we do see numerous attempts of breaching our systems we will trace your IP and report to your ISP, and Local Authorities for further prosecution. This is your warning!

All developers now have their own personal page with links to where ever they want them to go, their broadcast, and whatever else the developers want you to know about for whatever reason. At the linkbar across the top of the website there is a link called “developer center”, just click that and you will be briefed with a small introduction on who they are and what their role is, along with a nice little snapshot of them at the most random time in their life. Take a look for yourself.

Inside of these developer pages, you will be able to view them broadcasting their development. So watch them live as they work. Sorry guys we do not work from 8am to 5pm so you will have to check frequently to see us develop.

This is going to disapoint our content viewers but we have decided to take our official website down and use a blog to keep everyone updated.

I personally dont believe we need a whole website that appears to be a fully functional game when we are not. So what better way to stay informed using a blog!
